What ceramic coating is and what it does
Ceramic coating is a liquid applied to the paint that hardens over a few hours into a very thin, clear layer bonded to the surface. That layer makes the paint smoother, so dust and sand do not stick as easily, and water runs off in beads.
In Abu Dhabi, where dust is daily and washing is frequent, that means a car that stays clean longer, faster washes, and paint that suffers less from the sun and bird droppings.

Preparation is half the result
A coating locks in whatever is underneath. Put it on paint with swirl marks or dullness, and those faults stay visible under the shine. So we foam-wash the car, remove contamination bonded to the paint, then machine polish out light scratches before any coating goes on.
Polishing time depends on the paint. A new car needs a light polish, while a used car may need two stages.
How we apply ceramic coating

A full foam wash lifts dust and sand before anything touches the paint.

Machine polish
The paint is polished to remove light scratches and dullness, so the surface is completely clean.
Step 3
Apply the coating
Applied panel by panel with a special applicator, then levelled off at the right moment.
Step 4
Cure and hand over
The layer is left to cure, the gloss is checked and you get the car back with care instructions.
What decides the price of ceramic coating
Ceramic coating at our shop starts from AED 400. The price goes up with the size of the car, the condition of the paint and how much polishing it needs, the number of layers, the product and its warranty, and whether you also want the glass, wheels or interior coated.

Ceramic coating or PPF?
Ceramic coating will not stop a stone chip. It is a very thin layer. If your main problem is chips on the front from the highway, the answer is PPF. If you want gloss, easy washing and daily protection from sun and dust, ceramic is the right fit.

Ceramic coating comes with a warranty from 1 year, depending on the product and number of layers. We explain what it covers and the care needed to keep it valid.
The coating needs time to fully cure. For the first days, keep the car away from water where you can, and do not use wax or strong cleaners.
How long ceramic coating lasts in the UAE
Ceramic coating lifespans in brochures are often based on mild climates. In the UAE, strong UV, high summer temperatures, sand and frequent washing all wear a coating faster. So the honest answer is that it depends on three things: the product and number of layers, how the car is parked, and how it is washed.
A car parked under shade or in a covered car park keeps its coating noticeably longer than one parked in the open sun all day. Hand washing with a pH-neutral shampoo keeps the coating working, while automatic washes with hard brushes and strong chemicals wear it down quickly. A quick top-up spray every few months helps keep the water beading strong.
