Engine oil change
We change your engine oil and oil filter with the type and grade your manufacturer recommends. You can combine an oil change with new tyres or any other service in the same visit.
Abu Dhabi heat puts extra stress on engine oil, so do not stretch the change beyond the distance in your car's handbook.
How we change tyres and oil

Step 1
Remove the wheel
The car is lifted on its jack points and the wheel removed.

Step 2
Fit the tyre
The old tyre comes off and the new one goes onto the wheel on the machine.

Step 3
Balance
The wheel is balanced on the machine to remove any vibration.

Step 4
Oil change
If you want, the oil and filter are changed in the same visit.
When to replace your tyres
The tyre's production date is printed on the sidewall as four digits: the first two are the week, the last two the year. If you are not sure about your tyres, drop by and we will check them.
- When the tread is close to the wear indicator inside the grooves
- When the sidewall shows cracks from the sun
- When there is a bulge in the sidewall: replace it straight away
- When the tyre is old, even if the tread looks fine, because heat hardens the rubber
What decides the price
Tyre prices depend on size, type and brand. Fitting and balancing depend on the wheel size. An oil change depends on the oil type and how much your engine takes.
Send us the size printed on the tyre sidewall and your car model on WhatsApp, and we will send the options available with prices.
Choosing the right tyre for UAE heat
Not every tyre suits a summer in Abu Dhabi, where road surfaces get extremely hot. Three things on the sidewall matter. The size, such as 235/55 R19, must match what your car's manufacturer specifies. The load index tells you how much weight each tyre can carry, which matters for large family SUVs and pickups loaded with passengers and luggage. The speed rating, a letter after the load index, must be at least what your car was built for.
Beyond the numbers, think about how you drive. Mostly city driving between MBZ City, Mussafah and the island favours a comfortable, quiet tyre with good braking. Long highway trips to Dubai or Al Ain favour a tyre with strong heat resistance and stable handling at speed. Occasional desert or off-road use needs an all-terrain tyre, which is louder on the road but much tougher on sand.
Price matters too, and the cheapest tyre is not always the cheapest choice. A budget tyre that hardens and cracks in two summers can cost more in the end than a better tyre that lasts four. Tell us your car, how you drive and your budget, and we will suggest two or three options at different prices so you can choose with the full picture.
Summer tyre tips
- Check pressure in the morning, before the tyres heat up
- Use the pressure on the driver's door sticker, not the number on the tyre
- Rotate your tyres from time to time so they wear evenly
- Get the wheels balanced if the steering wheel shakes at speed
Frequently asked questions
Do you have tyres in every size?
We deal with most tyre brands and sizes. Send us the size printed on the sidewall on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is available.
Can I bring my own tyres to be fitted?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp first so we can book you in.
How long does a tyre change take?
Four tyres with balancing usually does not take long, though busy times can add a wait. Message us before you come.
Can a puncture be repaired instead of replacing the tyre?
A small hole in the tread can usually be repaired. A hole in the sidewall cannot, and the tyre must be replaced.
How often should I change my engine oil?
It depends on the oil type and your manufacturer's recommendation in the handbook. We tell you the right interval when we change it.
Do you check the rest of the car?
We check the tyres and oil as part of the service. We do not offer other mechanical work at the shop at the moment.
