Swirl removal and a restored shine
Car Polishing in MBZ City
The Abu Dhabi sun and daily washing leave swirl marks and dullness on paint. We machine polish in stages until the colour and gloss come back, with a wash before and after.

When your car needs polishing
Look at your paint under the sun or petrol station lights. If you see fine circles glinting around the light, those are wash marks. They come from hard brushes, or from wiping dry dust and sand across the paint. Over time they make the colour look flat, even when the car is clean.
Polishing removes a very thin amount of the clear coat so the surface is level again. It then reflects light properly and the colour looks deep and glossy again.
- Swirl marks that show in the sun
- Dull paint, or a colour lighter than it used to be
- Water spots dried onto the paint
- Before selling the car, or before ceramic coating or PPF
Our polishing options
Light polish (one stage)
Brings back the gloss and softens light swirls. Right for new cars or paint in good condition.
Polish and correction (two stages)
A first stage with a stronger compound removes most swirl marks, then a second stage finishes the gloss. Right for used cars.
Interior polish
Cleaning and dressing of the dashboard, doors and interior plastics, restoring their colour without a greasy shine.
How we polish your car

Step 1
Wash
Foam and rinse to remove sand and dirt before polishing.

Step 2
Inspect
The paint is checked under strong light to decide how many stages it needs.

Step 3
Machine polish
Panel by panel, with the right machine and compound for your paint.

Step 4
Finish
A final gloss stage, then a wipe-down and last check before handover.
Car wash
Polishing always starts with a proper wash. We foam and rinse the car first so we never polish sand into the paint. You can also ask for a wash on its own while your car is with us for another job.
What decides the price of polishing
Polishing at our shop starts from AED 100 for a light polish. The price goes up with the size of the car, the paint condition and how many stages it needs, and whether you add an interior polish.
Send us a photo of the paint in sunlight on WhatsApp and we will tell you which polish suits your car and what it costs.
What to expect after polishing
Polishing removes light and medium scratches. Deep scratches that reach the colour or the metal will not polish out and need a respray. We tell you this before we start so you know what to expect.
To keep the result for longer, many customers add a ceramic coating straight after polishing.
Polish, paint correction or respray?
These three are often confused, and choosing the wrong one wastes money. A polish improves gloss and softens light swirl marks in a single stage. It suits paint that is in fair condition and just looks tired. Paint correction is a deeper, multi-stage process that removes most swirl marks, light scratches and water spots, panel by panel, using stronger compounds before a finishing polish.
A respray is a different job altogether. If a scratch has gone through the clear coat into the colour, or down to the primer or metal, no amount of polishing will remove it. That panel needs paint. A simple test: run a fingernail gently across the scratch. If the nail catches, the scratch is probably too deep to polish out completely.
We tell you which one your car needs before we start. Often the answer is a polish or correction for the whole car, while a single deep scratch on one panel is best left alone or handled separately. That way you pay for what will make a visible difference, not for work that cannot fix the problem.
Tips to avoid wash marks
- Rinse the sand off with water before touching the paint
- Use a microfiber mitt and car shampoo, not dish soap
- Do not wipe dust off a dry car
- Dry with a clean microfiber towel
Frequently asked questions
Does polishing damage the paint?
Correct polishing removes a very thin amount of clear coat. Done with the right machine and compound, and not too often, it does not harm the paint.
How often should I polish my car?
Usually once a year, or when swirl marks show. With a ceramic coating on top, you will need it less.
Will polishing remove every scratch?
It removes light and medium scratches. Scratches down to the colour or metal need a respray, and we tell you before we start.
How long does car polishing take?
A light polish is quicker than a two-stage correction. We give you a time when you book, based on the car.
Do you wash cars?
Yes. A wash is part of every polish, and you can ask for a wash on its own when your car is with us for another job.
Should I add ceramic coating after polishing?
If you want the shine to last, yes. The coating protects the freshly polished paint from sun and dust and makes washing easier.
