What our car tinting includes
Tinting is more than sticking film on glass. We start by cleaning every window from the inside and removing dust and old adhesive, because any speck trapped under the film shows up later as a bubble. Then we cut the film to fit each window and heat-shape the curved rear screen so the film sits flat with no creases.
If your car has old tint that is cracked or has turned purple, we strip it first and clean the glue off the glass before fitting the new film. At handover we go through the result with you, window by window.
- Interior glass cleaning, plus old tint removal when needed
- Film cut to fit each window of your car
- Heat-shaping of the rear screen for a crease-free fit
- Tight edge finishing, so no light line shows at the borders
- A walk-round at handover and a clear warranty explanation
Film types: Makhfi, heat-rejection and ceramic
Many customers ask for Makhfi tint by name. It is one of the most popular films in the UAE. What matters more than the name is what you need: more privacy, a cooler cabin, or both.
Standard (dyed) film
The cheapest option. It gives a dark look and privacy but only limited heat reduction, and the colour can fade over the years in the Abu Dhabi sun.
Heat-rejection film
Has a layer that reflects part of the infrared heat, so the cabin stays noticeably cooler even with a lighter shade.
Ceramic (nano ceramic) film
The strongest heat rejection without having to go very dark, and it does not interfere with mobile signal or GPS. A good fit if you spend long hours driving during the day.
How we tint your car
A full car usually takes a few hours, depending on its size and the film.

Step 1
Prepare the glass
Doors open, interior covered, and the glass washed from the inside with soapy water and a squeegee.

Step 2
Cut the film
The film is cut to fit each window of your car on a clean bench.

Step 3
Heat-shape
The film is shaped to the curved rear screen with a heat gun so it lies flat.

Step 4
Fit and finish
The film goes on from the inside, the water is pressed out, the edges are finished and every window is checked.
What decides the price of car tinting
Car tinting at our shop starts from AED 350 and goes up with three things. First, the film: standard film costs less than heat-rejection film, and ceramic is the top of the range. Second, the size of the car and the number of windows: a sedan costs less than a large SUV or a car with a glass roof. Third, whether old tint has to be removed.
The quickest way to an exact price is to send us your car model and year on WhatsApp. We will send prices for each film type so you can compare for yourself.
Legal tint percentage in Abu Dhabi
UAE rules allow private cars up to 50% tint on the side and rear windows. The windscreen cannot be tinted except for a narrow strip at the top. Going over the limit can lead to a fine of up to AED 1,500.
Be aware that shops use numbers differently: some mean how much light passes through, others mean how dark the film is. Before fitting, we explain exactly what the number means and keep your tint within the legal limit. Abu Dhabi Police guidance is always the final word.
Warranty and what to expect after fitting
Most of the tint films we fit come with a warranty from 1 year, and the length depends on the film. We tell you the warranty for each option before you choose.
In the first days after fitting you may see a light haze or small water spots under the film. This is normal. It is leftover fitting solution and it clears by itself within a few days in the heat.
Looking after your tint
- Keep the windows up for three to four days so the film can set
- Clean the inside of the glass with a soft microfiber cloth and water or an ammonia-free cleaner
- Avoid sharp tools and stickers on the tinted side of the glass
- If a bubble appears after two weeks, contact us and we will check it under warranty
From our Google reviews
“Good service from start to finish. The team was professional, explained the tint options clearly, and finished the job faster than quoted. The black tint looks flawless—no bubbles, no peeling, and the edges are perfectly trimmed. Highly recommend!”Frequently asked questions
How long does car tinting take?
Usually a few hours for a full car. Large SUVs, or cars with old tint to strip, take a little longer. We give you the expected time when you book.
Do you have Makhfi tint?
Yes. We fit Makhfi films and other heat-rejection films, and explain the difference in cooling, price and warranty before you choose.
What is the best tint percentage in the UAE?
Most customers go close to the 50% legal limit on the sides and rear. If cooling matters more than privacy, a lighter heat-rejection or ceramic film gives a better result.
Can you tint the windscreen?
Full windscreen tint is not allowed in the UAE, only a narrow strip at the top. A clear heat-rejection film may be possible within the rules, and we explain this before fitting.
When can I roll the windows down?
After about three to four days. That gives the film time to bond to the glass without the edges lifting.
Does the warranty cover bubbles and fading?
The warranty covers film and fitting faults such as bubbling and peeling, under the terms of each film. A light haze in the first days is normal and clears by itself.
